I need to show Unicode strings in ActiveTreeView. I already know that vb 6
controls convert strings to ANSI internally, losing "Unicode powers". Does
someone know a way to coerce Nodes to show Unicode strings? I could use even
ideas such as writing the Unicode string directly to memory, just need to know
any tip on finding the caption's pointer.

Thanks,
Martin.

VB 6 keeps the unicode string intact but does not allow you to 'see' the
unicode in the IDE. But reading from a file, manipulating and then adding
to a unicode enabled control shows the correct value. MS VB6 controls are
not unicode aware so you'll need to use a 3rd party control or test this or
use the MS 'Forms' controls that come with MS Office.
